IF Madonna is a Material Girl then Cyndi Lauper is a Seasonal Girl.

  Explaining her chemical blonde (and then some!) look at a press conference she held at the Regal Hong Kong yesterday, Lauper explained that her looks changed according to the seasons.

  She said: 'In the spring I was purple. But then when I went out in summer and saw the tulips I took a brush and painted my hair yellow.'     But as the press conference progressed, someone questioned Lauper about her age (she's 41) in a manner that almost turned her hair white.

    Lauper, fresh from performances in Paris and London, plays the Queen Elizabeth Stadium today and tomorrow as part of her 'Twelve Deadly Cyns . . . And then Some' Asian tour.
