In the fold

If you're in the market for a chic, simple leather wallet, have a look at MCM's new Sapiano collection. The minimal design features 10 card slots and a large note compartment. For us, however, it's all about the colours. We like the red and blue versions (right; HK$2,000 each). MCM is at 30 Queen's Road Central, tel: 2117 3955.

Open season

Esprit fans will be happy to see the label has released a second collection for summer. As usual, the clothes are casual and cheerfully priced. The short-sleeve shirt in black and white check (right; HK$369) makes for a fun take on a casual button-up. The blue windbreaker (below right; HK$699) is a good piece for transitioning from summer to autumn. Esprit is at 50 Queen's Road Central, tel: 2523 1900.

Back in black Kris Van Assche celebrates the suit in its latest collection. The range of modern outfits, which are almost all black, should tempt men out of sweatshirts and into something more elegant. We like the long black jacket (above; HK$18,900) with zip detail. Kris Van Assche is available at Harvey Nichols, The Landmark, Central, tel: 3695 3388.

An eye on style

Swedish accessories label Triwa has launched its debut sunglasses collection. The brand's playful style has been translated into funky shades with contrasting coloured tips. We like the Midnight Homies (below left; HK$1,490) in black with red tips and the Hangovers (above left; HK$1,490) in brown with blue tips. Triwa is available at Russell Street, 2/F, 24 Russell Street, Causeway Bay, tel: 2591 1166.
