Hydrating face masks

Elemis Exotic Cream Moisturising Mask, HK$550/50ml

Suitable for all skin types and perfect for rehydrating parched skin, contains amino-acid-rich therapeutic plant extracts such as Sea Rocket and echinacea to leave skin deeply cleansed and moisturised.

Fresh Rose Face Mask (HK$580/100ml, available at Lane Crawford)

A luxurious, super-hydrating mask that transforms dull, lacklustre complexions. Infused with real rose petals to nourish and tone. Anti-inflammatory cucumber extract and aloe vera reduce the appearance of redness and irritation.

Comfort Zone Hydramemory Hydramask HK$460/50ml (tel: 2517 0939)

Deep-acting, hydrolipidic face mask that replenishes the skin's water content, fights ageing and renews elasticity and tone. Contains trehalose, evening primrose oil, jojoba oil and hyaluronic acid.

Verdict Comfort Zone's Hydramask has a light texture and scent, and leaves skin hydrated but not greasy. Elemis' mask smells exotic and feels luxurious, leaving the skin supple and soft. Those expecting Fresh's Rose Mask to be a whipped pink cream will be disappointed - it's a brown gel. But it smells heavenly and gave the most visible results: skin felt toned and calmed, and glowed after one application.
