Lilly Chan, international business director - Asian Art, Christie's

Based in Hong Kong, Chan is responsible for the management and strategic planning of the company's global Asian Art business. Chan's expertise in brand positioning, new channel development and her ability to match the needs of local markets in support of the international department will help develop business and identify new initiatives and investment opportunities in this important collecting category.

Ciying Sun, regional business development director, Christie's

Sun is responsible for building long-term client relationships, developing and implementing new business initiatives across the region such as proposals, valuations and special client services. In addition to overseeing client development and business development teams in Hong Kong, she also manages Christie's representative offices in Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand) and East Asia (Korea, Taiwan).

Pauline Tien, business development director, Christie's Fine Art Storage Services (CFASS)

Tien is responsible for new business and client development for CFASS Singapore FreePort. She works closely with external industries such as insurance, banking and financial services, as well as with colleagues from Christie's other businesses such as auctions, private sales and real estate, to generate new business for CFASS.

Yvonne Wang, account director, impactasia

In her new role, Wang will continue to service her existing clients as well as focus on new business development and the management of the corporate team. '[Wang] has a proven track record in developing, planning and implementing creative and results-driven public relations campaigns and I know she will continue to produce excellent results for her clients in the future,' says Sarah Woodhouse, impactasia's group managing director.

Michelle Lee, account manager, impactasia

Lee will support the company's growing consumer practice and is responsible for providing client counsel and media relations support to her broad range of clients, as well as day-to-day account management. She currently works with a number of key clients, including Sofitel Luxury Hotels, Chic Outlet Shopping, and Crystal Cruises. Lee's international exposure has been enriched by her marketing and events work experience in Malaysia, India and Romania.

Craig Merdian, senior vice-president and chief financial officer - Asia, Manulife Financial

Based in Hong Kong, Merdian will provide leadership to regional and local finance teams of 10 markets across Asia. '[Merdian] has worked extensively in Asia over the past 16 years, and this - combined with his 30 years of life insurance experience in financial management, strategic planning and corporate development - prepares him well for this role. This appointment further aligns the Asia division's senior leadership team with the company's strategy to continue our significant business growth and to expand our presence and distribution channels in the region,' says Robert Cook, Manulife Financial's senior executive vice-president and general manager, Asia. Merdian is both a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a certified public accountant.
