Rodial Stretch MX (HK$980/125ml)

Claim: a new release championed by Victoria Beckham following last month's birth of Harper Seven Beckham, this formula diminishes existing and new stretch marks. Good for post-pregnancy, as it also works to smooth and tighten the skin.

Skin & Bones Luxurious Face+Body+Hair Oil (HK$440/100ml), available at Joyce

Claim: an organic therapeutic oil to moisturise the face, neck, stomach, legs, hands and feet. Promises to reduce wrinkles; balance the oil on your face for a healthy glow; heal cuticles; energise scalps and condition hair; reduce stretch marks and cellulite.

Aromatherapy Associates Renew Rose Massage & Body Oil (HK$540/100ml, inquiries: 3711 3232)

Claim: an all-natural blend of intensely nourishing essential oils, including rose, neroli and evening primrose oil. Revitalises and softens dry, irritated skin and helps to protect against stretch marks during pregnancy.

Verdict We love the multitasking Skin & Bones' oil. It feels lighter than most organic oils, glides on easily and has a heady, woody scent. Aromatherapy Associates' silky body oil smells divine but is slower to absorb. Its rich texture seems perfect for growing tummies. Rodial's Stretch MX has a light gel-like formula, but when massaged in, it begins to flake off. It does slightly reduce the appearance of stretch marks but they don't disappear altogether. All three products are safe for breastfeeding mothers.
