Bill Amos
Mayer Brown JSM

Amos returns to Mayer Brown JSM from Ince & Co where he was a partner focusing on commercial litigation. Previously, he was a partner at Johnson Stokes & Master, which combined with Mayer Brown in 2008 to form Mayer Brown JSM. He is experienced in commercial dispute resolution, including international trade, banking, transport and insurance. In particular, he also has extensive experience in shipping-related disputes and international arbitration. Amos is admitted in Hong Kong, England and Wales.

Jason Mann
Head of China pharma/healthcare
Barclays Capital

Working in Asia ex-Japan equity research, Mann will be responsible for establishing and leading coverage of the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector on the mainland. He joins the firm from consultancy Mann Biotechnology Ventures. He also worked at SciClone Pharmaceuticals, a China-focused US therapeutics company and advised senior management as a consultant in the biopharmaceutical and healthcare sectors at McKinsey & Co.

Wilson Shao Shing-ming
Managing director, Ngong Ping 360
MTR Corp

Shao, who will take up his position next month, has 30 years of international marketing and management experience in the travel and transport industries, having worked in ground and air transport. He joined Ngong Ping 360 - a subsidiary of MTR Corp that operates the Ngong Ping cable car and village - in 2007. He is a member of Britain's Chartered Institute of Marketing. Shao is replacing Li Yan-tai, who is retiring.

Alicia Yap
Head of China internet
Barclays Capital

Yap will be responsible for establishing and leading coverage of the internet sector in China. She will be based in Hong Kong. Yap joins Barclays Capital from Citi where she was most recently head of China internet and information technology services. She has seven years of experience covering internet and IT companies.

Sam Ahmed
Head of collateral management sales, Asia-Pacific
Global Transaction Services

Joining Citi to help reinforce the team in Asia, Ahmed comes from Merrill Lynch in Singapore where he was in charge of regional collateral management and derivatives client services teams for the private banking division.

Jack Yee
Managing director, head of equity Syndicate, Asia-Pacific
Barclays Capital

Based in Hong Kong, Yee has responsibility for managing Barclays Capital's equity syndicate function in Asia-Pacific, leading the marketing, distribution, pricing and allocation of equity capital markets transactions. He joins Barclays Capital from Nomura, where he was head of equity syndicate, Asia ex-Japan. Yee also spent 10 years at Lehman Brothers in a variety of equity syndicate and trading roles, before becoming head of equity syndicate, Asia-Pacific, in 2007.

Weiwei Li
Senior Portfolio Manager
Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management

Li joins the emerging markets team handling Chinese equities. Since 2007, she has been at Altima Partners in London as an Asia specialist for the global hedge fund. Before that, Li was an investment manager of a China fund at Fabien Pictet. She also gained experience at global and Chinese financial institutions including ABN Amro and Invesco. Li holds a master's degree in business administration from Insead in France.

San San Peh
Head of shipping services
Mayer Brown JSM

Additionally, Peh joins Mayer Brown JSM's Singapore office from Watson, Farley & Williams. She has also previously worked at Fortis Bank and Overseas Union Bank and has extensive experience in shipping finance, structured finance and syndications. Peh graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a bachelor's degree in business.
