Back from the dead

A simple twist on a classic shape can breathe new life into a tried-and-trusted style. Alexander McQueen's new black and red slipper shoe with silver skull motif (above; HK$4,500) adds a cool and edgy touch to a simple and comfortable design. The shoes are available at On Pedder, Wheelock House, Central, tel: 2118 3489.

Right connections

Christian Dior's touch phone is the ultimate electronic accessory for the discerning designer groupie. The phone is available in multiple colour combinations such as blue sapphire (above left; HK$46,800) and red and gold (above right; HK$59,300). Dior is at The Landmark, Central, tel: 2524 8277.

Go to great lengths

When Mulberry unveiled its 1970s-inspired autumn-winter collection, the models' long, flowing hair matched their long, flowing skirts. Heavy duffle and double-breasted coats were balanced by light tulle and silk floor-length dresses brimming with gutsy glamour. We love the pleated V-neck dress in hedgehog bronze and metallic silk (right; HK$19,500) and the gathered V-neck dress in dark heather winter flower tulle (far right; HK$26,000). Mulberry is at Times Square, Causeway Bay, tel: 2506 1020.
