Caleb Baker, managing director of recruitment managed services - Asia Pacific, Talent2

Baker has worked at Talent2 for more than five years and was previously managing director for recruitment process outsourcing (Asia) and one of the founders of the company in the region in 2006. In his new role, he will lead and manage human resources and business process outsourcing (BPO) across Asia Pacific. He will continue to build the regional infrastructure.

Chris Frost, business development director of recruitment managed services - Asia, Talent2

Frost joins Talent2 from SHL Greater China, where he was vice-president of sales. He brings to the new role over 13 years of experience in helping organisations across Europe and Asia to optimise business performance. In his new capacity, Frost will be responsible for ensuring the company delivers outcomes for its clients and that it remains the default choice for BPO solutions across Asia.

Chae Kwang Lee, director of industry relations - Asia Pacific, CFA Institute

Lee will be responsible for designing and implementing an industry relations outreach plan to build relationships with investment industry employers. He will also engage with industry constituents. Most recently, Lee worked as the head of research and strategy at Korea Investment and Securities, where he performed strategy marketing on behalf of institutional investors and arranged corporate IR for overseas clients.

Padma Venkat, director of capital markets policy - Asia Pacific, CFA Institute Venkat is a chartered accountant from India who has lived in Hong Kong for 18 years. Most recently, she was area director for Analog Corporate Services. In her new role, Venkat will lead activities to promote ethical standards policies. She is eager to speak to regulators and contribute to regulatory reforms and industry best practices to ensure fair capital market practices that uphold investor protection and market integrity.

CK Lam, director of engineering and projects, The Excelsior, Hong Kong

Lam will be responsible for hotel engineering operations, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all building facilities. He will also lead the hotel's energy and environmental initiatives. Lam brings more than 25 years' technical and hotel industry experience to the organisation. Previous to his new appointment, Lam was director of engineering at the Kowloon Shangri-La.

Robert Hauck, group president, Thanyapura

During his 23-year career spanning four continents, Hauck has developed a reputation for leadership and has achieved wide recognition for his performances in hotel management and sales and marketing. He most recently held the position of general manager at the Grand Hotel d'Angkor in Cambodia. In addition, Hauck has been at the management helm at numerous luxury hotels across Asia Pacific. These properties include Shangri-La's Far Eastern Plaza Hotel, Taipei, Island Shangri-La Hong Kong, Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur, and Pudong Shangri-La in Shanghai. Hauck is a believer in work-life balance. He is an enthusiastic sportsman and triathlete.
