Everyone has experienced those awkward moments in a cab that make you want to just step out and slam the door behind you. Canto-pop idol Hins Cheung King-hin is no exception, but he was so upset he let it all out on his weibo account. Here's what happened. On Wednesday he hailed a cab to Wan Chai and as soon as he hopped in, the driver recognised him.

'So you are that singer,' said the driver. 'Have you received the HK$6,000 government payout?'

When Cheung said he would not get it because he was originally from Guangzhou and not a permanent Hong Kong resident, the driver quipped: 'Why can't you just stay on the mainland and stop coming here and stealing our jobs? Girls in show businesses are mean, they hardly wear any clothes.'

Insulted, Cheung asked the driver to pull over and he got out saying: 'You should better go see a doctor man, you have problems.'

Since the post on Wednesday more than 5,000 comments have been posted by the star's followers and the item has been re-tweeted by more than 10,000 users.
