Fashion designer Johanna Ho and artist Lam Pei are good friends, and when both realised they had new projects coming out at the same time, they decided to collaborate. The result is First Love, which unveiled Lam's life-sized papier m?ch? dolls wearing versions of Ho's 2011 autumn-winter line.

According to both artists, the theme First Love represents Ho and Lam returning to their roots - needle-woven garments for Ho and papier m?ch? made out of recycled paper for Lam.

Ho was dressed in a full body-matching floral print suit from her collection, which resembled very stylish pyjamas.

The mother of two, who studied alongside Stella McCartney at Central Saint Martins college in London, is proud to have incorporated eco-friendly fabric, which uses a zero-wastage technique in which lots of old strips of material are knitted together to form new garments.

Taking place in the Audi Kowloon showroom- 'because Audi fully supports design in Hong Kong', as an Audi representative explained - Ho and Lam were joined by celebrity guests including singer-actresses Yumiko Cheng Hei-yi and Josie Ho Chiu-yee.
