Top acts lined up to wow fans
Top acts from Hong Kong and Taiwan will be coming to the CotaiArena at The Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel to perform in the coming months.
First up is Canto-pop artist Ekin Cheng Yee-kin on September 24. He reprises his successful 'Beautiful Day 2011' concert he held in Hong Kong this year and will perform many of his hits in this concert, 'Beautiful Day 2011 Ekin Cheng World Tour - Macao'.
Next up on October 15 is Taiwanese pop and folk singer Tsai Chin who sings in Putonghua and Taiwanese, and is known for her rich vocals and witty persona. With a career that has spanned over three decades and more than 45 albums, Tsai will come to Macau to present her show, 'Tsai Chin Live in Macao 2011'.
Finally, Hong Kong pop group Grasshopper will return to CotaiArena on November 19 with their concert '25 Grasshopper Live in Macao'. The group's big break came when the members were spotted by pop queen Anita Mui Yim-fong who gave them stage time due to their dancing prowess. They have released more than 40 Cantonese and Putonghua albums and toured Asia and the United States.
For their concert in Macau, Grasshopper will perform 25 remixes covering hits from pop stars such as the late Mui, Leslie Cheung Kwok-wing, and Danny Chan Bak-keung, and Shirley Kwan Suk-yee. Fans are also in for a visual feast with a fashion show on stage.
Tickets for all concerts are available from the first floor of Sands Macao and CotaiArena box office. Packages, including round-trips between Hong Kong and Macau on CotaiJet, are also available.
