Singer in pink for charity campaign

Pink was the new black at French fashion brand Kookai's new collection presentation and charity app launch in aid of the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation on Thursday at Kowloon Tong's Festival Walk mall.

The brand booked Canto-pop idol Ella Koon Yan-na to be its ambassador for the charity campaign. Koon starred in a short video furthering awareness about breast cancer and modelled the brand's autumn-winter looks for the iPhone app.

The singer showed up in a hot pink number to support the cause. She seemed familiar with promoting the cause.

'I have a friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer in her 20s. Research showed that the youngest case in Hong Kong was not even 20 years old,' said Koon. The app is now free to download at iTunes app store. For every download before November 30, HK$1 will go to the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation.
