Harvey Nichols' Asia Flagship
Luxury fashion destination Harvey Nichols has announced that it will open its Asia flagship store in Hong Kong on October 18 at Pacific Place.
The new store will span more than 83,000 sq ft and represents an investment of over HK$150 million by its owner and operator, Dickson Concepts (International). Exclusive fashion accessories, beauty, and watch and jewellery collections will be offered under one roof, in what the company hopes will become Asia's ultimate luxury shopping destination.
Dickson Poon, group executive chairman of Dickson Concepts, will be present for the grand opening's ribbon-cutting ceremony, and Chief Executive Donald Tsang Yam-kuen is listed among the guests of honour.
'Globally, Hong Kong has always been considered as a key city for high-end luxury and fashion trends,' Poon says. 'With the availability of prime real estate on such significant scale as in Pacific Place, there could be no better time to open another Harvey Nichols for the fashionable customers in Hong Kong and from around the world.'
The new store is meant to be the flagship in Asia, after the first Hong Kong store opened in 2005 at The Landmark. Harvey Nichols also has six stores in Britain, one in Ireland and also in Riyadh, Dubai, Istanbul and Ankara. The new flagship is part of Harvey Nichols' effort to cement a position as a leading player in the global luxury retail industry.
