In the letter from Helen Ma ('HK$6,000 handout policy unfair', September 25), the last part of the sentence 'The officer insisted she would either have to open a new account or get a cheque for the HK$6,000 sent to her in the post', should have read '... or receive the payment by cheque in person at a post office'. The error was introduced during the editing process.
