Trainer John Size may have found a rising four-year-old with staying ability yesterday, but now has the problem of finding the right race next start for upset winner Enabling. The son of High Chaparral was a second-up winner in the Class Three Chongqing Handicap (1,800m) at his fourth Hong Kong start. The four-year-old was backed from 45-1 to 33-1 and beat Amityship and fast-finishing Hear The Roar. 'He can stay but the problem is trying to find suitable events,' Size said. 'I think he can win off a higher mark, it's just a matter of finding the races for him.' The trainer gave credit to a rails hugging ride by Mark du Plessis. 'With the inside draw and light weight, he followed the rail and let him go up the fence the whole way,' he said.
