Ocean Park's August was best month in 34 years

August saw Ocean Park's highest monthly attendance in its 34 years, with a turnout of more than 900,000 visitors. Numbers were driven up by two recently opened attractions and growing interest from mainland visitors, a spokesman said.

Man in critical condition after gang attack in TST

Two men were injured, one critically, when attacked by a group of men outside a bar in Minden Avenue, Tsim Sha Tsui, at about 5.20am. Police arrested seven men and found a knife at the scene. The injured were taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Two officers slightly hurt subduing suspect

Two patrolling police suffered slight injuries when they approached a man acting suspiciously at the intersection of Ho Pui and Chuen Lung streets, Tsuen Wan, and were assaulted. They subdued and arrested the man.

Green light for projects on sustainable development

Seven projects lasting from one to two years, involving grants totalling HK$7.3 million, have been approved under the Sustainable Development Fund to promote the public's awareness and adoption of sustainable development.
