Danish delight

Danish Yachts newest build, the 121-foot Shooting Star, gets two big thumbs up for engineering and design. With a carbon-fibre hull and a pair of powerful 4,750 hp diesel engines, this sporty yacht offers a top speed beyond 45 knots. Norwegian naval architecture firm Espen ?ino International penned her sleek exterior lines, creating large windows with lots of natural lighting. Danish design company Art-Line conceived a striking Scandinavian-influenced interior for the yacht with maple wood, white leathers, and cream-coloured fabrics. Shooting Star accommodates up to 10 guests and is for sale through Monaco's YCO (the Yacht Co.) for about US$26 million. (danishyachts.com; ycoyacht.com)
