Marcelo Burlon project
In his latest collaboration with Lane Crawford, creative director Marcelo Burlon aims to stimulate all of the senses.
This month in all Lane Crawford stores in Hong Kong and Beijing, a multimedia project created by Burlon (pictured) featuring photography, videos and music will be on display.
One of the highlights of the collaboration includes portraits and two videos filmed and edited by Burlon of 23 influencers in Milan. These include DJ Honey Redmond, stylist Ilaria Norsa, transsexual model Lea T and street style photographer Tamu McPherson, on their definitions of style reflected in the wardrobe of selected brands from Lane Crawford.
People will be shopping to the beat of music from playlists mixed by Burlon, while his favourite movies will be shown.
The project marks the expansion of Lane Crawford's Canton Road store. It also echoes the launch of 'lab by Lane Crawford' - which aims to deliver a new shopping experience, bringing to fashionistas must-have items from a range of brands for their own mix-and-match, rather than offering a head-to-toe seasonal collection.
A former editor-in-chief at Rodeo Magazine, Burlon - the brains behind one-man venture Marcelo Burlon Enterprise - excels in different disciplines. Past roles include that of consultant, editor, stylist and PR for brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Alessandro Dell'Acqua, Alexander McQueen, Maison Martin Margiela and Givenchy, before he claimed his independence in 2006.
