A pedestrian was injured when a taxi mounted the footpath outside the Fringe Club in Central at about 11am yesterday. A female passenger was also injured. They were treated at Queen Mary Hospital.

Women gets suspended jail term for feeding birds

A 58-year-old woman was sentenced in Eastern Court yesterday to four weeks' jail, suspended for two years, for feeding birds and fouling public places in Wan Chai on July 23 and August 12. She was also fined HK$5,000.
