Kung fu star honoured

Along with announcing measures for increasing public housing, improving building safety and the environment, and setting up transport subsidies for the elderly, Chief Executive Donald Tsang Yam-kuen made one announcement in his annual policy speech that delighted film fans. He said the government would set up a gallery in honour of Bruce Lee, the late martial arts movie star.

Fans were disappointed in June when the government said a plan to build a Bruce Lee museum in Lee's old house was cancelled after negotiations with the property's current owner broke down.
