French label Leonard has revamped its image - and its boutique in Prince's Building. Founder Daniel Triboullard, who was in Hong Kong recently, took the brand in a fresh direction this season. The label's Asian-inspired peony prints are divine, as seen on the Cyclade printed silk crepon dress (far left; HK$51,000). For a daytime look, we like the printed blouse in Mikado silk jersey (HK$22,800) paired with the chic knee-length skirt (both left; HK$12,000). A good pair of gloves is essential as the days get chillier and we're spoiled for choice by the newly launched Cabretta Couture, by Jennifer Chang Carmichael. With a ready-to-wear range as well as custom-made options, Cabretta's buttery-soft gloves are handmade in Britain using top-quality leather. We like the turnback-cuff glove in Ethiopian sheep leather (left; HK$2,000 unlined; HK$2,150 with silk lining) in black and red, or the everyday-use classic glove (below; HK$1,700), which has a slightly elasticated wrist. Insight is an affordable Australian label with a youthful, hipster vibe. Those who prefer a pair of tough black boots over stilettos may appreciate the daring cut of the blue Ace of Spades dress (far right; HK$629).
