This week we test: leave-in hair conditioner

Joyee Chan

Leave-in conditioner adds moisture to dry, brittle hair without weighing down your locks. Apply lightly to the tips of your tresses.

L'Occitane Repairing Smoothing Gloss (HK$210/125ml)

Rich with essential oils, it will give your hair a sleek finish that lasts. It also controls curls.

L'Oreal Paris Absolut Repair Cellular Leave-in Cream (HK$150/150ml)

A very rich and creamy product that smooths flyaways and seems to almost 'seal' split ends. A little pricy for this brand, but you only need a little each time.

Lush's R&B Hair Moisturiser (HK$199/100g)

The moisturiser does what it claims to do: it controls frizzy, flyaway hair and soothes dry scalps. It is great for winter.

Dove Intensive Repair Leave-on Cream (HK$37.90/120ml)

This creamy treatment tames flyaways and smooths the hair. It also keeps your hair moisturised without feeling sticky or oily. It is easy to use, and you don't need to rinse. The price is great, too.

LUX Super Damage Repair Black Diamond Energy Supply Essence (HK$49.90/100ml)

This shampoo helps to repair damage to colour-treated or permed hair and prevents split ends. It protects and moisturises every strand, leaving your hair healthy and beautiful.
