If eyes are the windows to the soul then you'll want to make sure yours look their best at all times.
Estee Lauder's Idealist Cooling Eye Illuminator (HK$490/15ml) is made with sea algae extracts, caffeine and sucrose. After dabbing a small amount around the eyes, skin appears brighter and dark spots are diminished. The illuminator is best used under foundation. We love the tube's ceramic tip, which cools the cream as it is squeezed out, so eyes feel refreshed when the cream is applied. Available at Estee Lauder counters and outlets.
Bobbi Brown's Corrector (HK$210/1.4 grams) and Creamy Concealer Kit (HK$300/3.1 grams) is a three-step routine that disguises dark circles. Dab a small amount of corrector over dark areas. It has a thick, creamy texture and is best applied with a brush as it's quite sticky. Next, apply the concealer to the whole area under the eye, followed by the pressed powder. Dark circles disappear and, while it feels a little heavy, it stays in place all day without drying the skin. Available at Bobbi Brown stores and counters.
Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Eye (HK$320/15ml) is a nighttime treatment that reduces puffiness and soothes the skin. It has the texture of a thick oil and is made with natural ingredients such as butcher's broom extract, squalane and lavender oil. Apply to cleansed skin just before bedtime. In the morning, eyes are less puffy and skin feels soft but dark circles are still visible. Available at Kiehl's counters.
Anna Sui Moisturising Eye Treatment Cream (HK$300/15ml) can be used over or under make-up to soothe tired, dry skin. The hydrating cream has a thick texture and is made with rose hip, grapeseed oil and raspberry extracts. Skin feels supple and plump after use. The cream can be used at any time of day. We suggest using repeatedly during long-haul flights to reduce the dehydrating effects of plane travel. Available at Anna Sui counters and stores.
