Hong Kong's Tie Yana reached the semi-finals of the women's World Cup in Singapore after a 4-1 victory over teammate Jiang Huajun last night. Playing in her 10th consecutive World Cup event, which features the top 16 players, Tie (pictured) cruised to the win despite losing the first game 11-7. The Hong Kong number one then took four games, 11-8, 13-11, 11-6, 11-8, to set up a tough final against Li Xiaohua of China. Li beat Singapore's Wang Yuegu.
