Blinkered City King and Gurus Dream claim minor silverware for the camp

Trainer Dennis Yip Chor-hong was unrepresented in the Group Twos, but he came away with all the minor silverware, winning the Silver Lining Cup and the Yan Chai Trophy. City King (Tye Angland) took the Class Four Silver Lining Cup, hitting form with the blinkers going on for the first time here, though he had won easily in Brisbane wearing them. 'City King has acclimatised better this season, he's a big horse and has needed those two races to get him fit,' Yip said. Guru's Dream (Alvin Ng Ka-chun) won the Class Three trophy event at his first Sha Tin outing, and Yip said he was doubly pleased as knowing the horse can run well at both racetracks gives him more options with the five-year-old.
