Burberry opening bash gets party set flocking to industrial Kwun Tong
The city's event planners certainly got it right when they lured a full-house to a party in the industrial area of Kwun Tong on a weekday.
They made the bait interesting enough, and more than 700 guests came out to party at Osage Kwun Tong on Thursday to celebrate Burberry's new Canton Road store opening.
The 16,000 sq ft gallery space was transformed into a hip night spot with decorations of silver balloons and an open bar bearing the classic Burberry checkered prints.
The brand flew in its chief executive Angela Ahrendts to party, as well as the Beijing-based veteran actress Maggie Cheung Man-yuk and mainland heart-throb Huang Xiaoming.
