Man denies rape after drinking games

After Ken Lee Hok-keung, 28, pleaded not guilty in the Court of First Instance yesterday to rape. He is accused of attacking a student, 19, in Ma On Shan on September 3 last year after they met in a Mong Kok bar and played drinking games. The woman told the court she passed out and that when she woke up, she saw Lee sleeping naked next to her.

Pair plead not guilty to decade-old murder

Newspaper retailer Ng Sik-kei and taxi driver Tsoi Wai-keung pleaded not guilty in the Court of First Instance to murder in the death of newspaper vendor Ho Wai-har on September 22, 1999. They also denied acting as triad members.

Facebook nurse faces punishment

Tuen Mun Hospital was studying how to punish a nurse who put details of a mentally disabled patient on Facebook, it said. A spokesman said the nurse admitted she had done wrong and deleted the data.

Bangkok tours off until at least Monday

Package tours to flood-battered Bangkok will not resume until at least next Monday. About 30 groups have had their tours cancelled or rescheduled, the Travel Industry Council says. The council will meet next Sunday to reassess the situation.
