Ahead of her first Hong Kong concert, next month at the Convention and Exhibition Centre, Taiwanese singing sensation Huang Li-ling, a.k.a. A-Lin, had a meet and greet at Telford Plaza, Kowloon Bay, on Saturday to sign autographs and give fans a taste of the concert line-up. While performing one of the songs from her new album, We Will Be Better, the singer got visibly teary-eyed.

'I'm a pretty emotional person,' she explained afterwards. 'The upcoming concert means a lot to me, because I'm finally able to make good a promise I've made to so many of my Hong Kong fans.'

Huang said there had always been overwhelming support at Taiwan concerts from her Hong Kong fans, who fly all the way to the island to hear her sing live. The singer had given them her word that she would come to them next time.

'I'm finally here; that thought made me well up with happy tears on stage. I didn't think I'd be able to make it happen so soon.'
