As the temperature drops, your closet isn't the only thing that needs an overhaul. Your skin will need more moisture to keep it soothed and balanced. Start from the beginning and update your cleanser.

Neutrogena Deep Clean Ultra Foam Cleanser (HK$99.90/175ml)

Although this foam works perfectly and cleans all grease and oil off your face, it dries out your skin somewhat. So, it works best on oily skin and when it's warmer.

Missha Super Aqua Moisture Deep Cleansing Cream (HK$138/200ml)

This foamless cleanser removes make-up and protects and moisturises your skin rather than giving it a deep cleansing, To remove dead skin and oil from oily skin choose a foamy one.

Benefit Cleanse Foamingly Clean Facial Wash (HK$200/127.5g)

You need only a tiny amount for this to lather well. It cleanses deeply without making the skin tight or dry. One downside is its weird, highly perfumed scent.

Origins Mega-Mushroom Skin Relief Face Cleanser (HK$260/150ml)

A gentle cleanser that leaves skin feeling soft and nourished but smells oddly of fungus. Bit too pricey, too.

The Body Shop Nutriganics Softening Cleansing Gel (HK$199/100ml)

Get clean, feel green! This gel-to-oil cleanser smells good, lifts the impurities and cleans away make-up. Fair trade and organic ingredients are added bonuses.
