Ole Ole claimed his third all-weather track win, with trainer Almond Lee believing his apprentice Keith Yeung Ming-lun learned the lesson of his defeat last time. 'Last time he drew an outside barrier and he was wide on the outside and the boy decided to change and go for an inside run,' Lee said. 'He should just have kept going. Ole Ole is a small horse, and a small horse carrying weight needs time to balance up, so coming into the clear on the outside helps.' From a lower draw this time, Yeung always had Ole Ole positioned to get to the centre of the track and the gelding finished off well to win his way out of Class Three. 'Being only small, he can still do all right because he will have a lighter weight in Class Two,' Lee said.
