Asia sees rental growth for logistics space

Rentals of logistics space in the Asia Pacific grew 2 per cent from the second quarter between July and September, having risen 1.4 per cent from April to June, the CBRE Asia Pacific Logistics Rental Index shows. This was due largely to the strong performance of mainland markets, where retailers competed to secure quality space in prime areas ahead of the Lunar New Year in January.

Beijing home sales down 15pc from 2010

The top 10 developers together sold 15,522 homes in Beijing between February 17 (when the home purchase restriction policy was imposed) and October 31, a drop of 15 per cent compared with the same period in 2010, according to Centaline Property Agency.
