The former Philippine president set out for Singapore to undergo medical treatment but only made it as far as the airport VIP lounge before the government blocked her departure. Then on Friday, the Commission on Elections charging her with rigging the 2007 senatorial vote. She was arrested as she lay in a Manila hospital, where she is currently 'in custody'.

Ai said it concerns a series of pictures, titled One tiger, eight breasts, posted on the internet more than a year ago and featuring the artist and four naked women, all of whom volunteered to pose.
