Design experts to share ideas
Some of design's biggest names will be in town to share their knowledge from today until Saturday.
For the ninth year, the Hong Kong Design Centre is holding the Business of Design Week (BODW) for designers, business leaders, students and creative people to exchange ideas.
There will be exhibitions and forums during the six-day event. The DesignEd Asia Conference, scheduled for tomorrow and Wednesday, will focus on education and the design industry.
The highlight of the week will be the BODW Forum, which starts on Thursday and lasts for three days. Experts from global brands such as Audi, Hugo Boss and Porsche Design, along with prominent architects such as Ole Scheeren (CCTV tower, Beijing), and Shigeru Ban (known for his innovative use of paper and recycled cardboard paper tubes), will be among the speakers from various fields, including fashion and product design.
