The world-renowned patient hands of Gerald Mosse proved a winning engagement for trainer Francis Lui Kin-wai as Leo's Pride return to the winner's circle after a fruitless last 20 months. While the place to be on the all-weather course tactically is almost invariably on the speed, Mosse had no hesitation in shutting down Leo's Pride out of the gates and he was one of the few winners to run on from back. 'Mosse knows this horse very well - he knows how to ride him,' said Lui. Mosse's expertise on the horse is underlined by his record with Leo's Pride, which now stand at seven rides for two wins and three placings, for a horse with three wins and five placings from 28 runs.
