Kitchee slammed the poor pitch conditions after struggling to beat home team Sham Shui Po, 1-0, in the BMA First Division yesterday. 'We could barely play our normal passing game on such a poor ground,' Kitchee coach Josep Gombau said of the Sham Shui Po Sports Ground. 'It's so bumpy and difficult to control the ball.' Kitchee are now tied with Sun Hei at the top of the table with 17 points, but remain second on goal difference. Meanwhile, TSW Pegasus defeated Citizen 3-2 at Mong Kok Stadium to move into third place.
