A bit of Hollywood magic in TST as stars channel Grace Kelly to show off new range
Few women manage to look elegant as effortlessly as Grace Kelly did, so there's perhaps no better compliment than wanting to become her.
A handful of local stars channelled Kelly last Thursday to promote Montblanc's new collection, dedicated to the beloved late princess of Monaco and Hollywood legend.
Heading the line-up was singer-actress Vivian Chow Wai-man. The beauty, together with models Carrie Lam Lei and Marie Zhuge Ziqi, showcased the collection of limited-edition high jewellery, stationery and watches. They each took a leaf out of Kelly's classic look book to mimic her make-up, hair, outfits and smile.
While the multimillion-dollar diamonds might sound the perfect Christmas gift to melt a girl's heart, Chow's husband Joe Nieh Chun has gone one step farther.
'I haven't got around to Christmas shopping, but Joe has already given me a great gift,' she said. 'My mum tossed away a teddy bear that I grew up with earlier, but Joe spent a lot of time finding me a similar one, and it was wearing a jacket that really looked as if it was from Joe's wardrobe. I'm really moved by the effort he put into it.'
