What I'm reading: Steve Jobs' biography. I have been using Mac computers since the 1990s and his ideas have always surprised me.

What I'm listening to: bands that have been in Hong Kong in recent months, such as Mogwai, Russian Red, Emmy the Great and Maksim, and acts that are coming to Clockenflap, such as Santigold, Bombay Bicycle Club, and Pains of Being Pure at Heart. My favourites of 2011 include James Morrison, Feist, Zee Avi, Ed Sheeran, and SuperHeavy.

What I'm watching: You Are the Apple of My Eye, 3 Idiots, Drive, Big Blue Lake, and Margin Call.

Where I've been surfing: NME.com and roughtrade.com keep me abreast of the UK music scene. Pitchfork.com is also cool.

What's my gadget: The iPhone is still my daily tool and toy.
