South China will have to wait until Christmas Day before finding out whether they are good enough to advance to the Canbo Senior Shield final, after being held to a 2-2 draw by TSW Pegasus in the first leg of the semi-finals at Yuen Long Stadium yesterday. The December 25 return-leg match will be held at Hong Kong Stadium, considered South China's home ground. Tuen Mun and Sunray Cave Sun Hei today play the other semi-final, first-leg tie of the season's first knockout tournament at Tuen Mun Stadium.
