More than 350 students from Clearwater Bay School wore red Santa hats to spread Christmas cheer, singing classic Christmas carols at a concert in the school's courtyard last Friday night.

Students between the ages of four and 11 from the school choir and orchestra took part in the enjoyable performance for parents.

In addition, the concert raised funds for Operation Santa Claus, to which the school pledged at least HK$5,000.

'We always give a Christmas concert, and as part of our contribution to the community, we like to collect for Operation Santa Claus and hope parents contribute as much as they can,' said acting principal Howard Topper. 'It is our way of getting the community together and contributing to something worthwhile at Christmas.'
