Nine North Point demonstrators charged

Five men and three women, who were among 53 demonstrators arrested after a clash with police in North Point on June 4, were charged with three counts of unauthorised assembly yesterday and will appear in Eastern Court next Thursday. Another woman, 28, who allegedly stole a police baton will appear in court on January 4.
