Having sold more than 44 million records worldwide, and scored 14 number one singles and seven number one albums, Irish super-group Westlife celebrates 14 years of success with the release of their Greatest Hits.

Made up of Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily and Shane Filan, Westlife have achieved unprecedented accomplishments, some of which are only just behind records held by The Beatles and Elvis Presley.

This album contains most of the band's chart-topping singles from more than a decade of recording, as well as four new tracks. The sentimental ballads include Swear It Again, the band's first single, which topped the charts in Ireland and Britain for two weeks; Uptown Girl, their biggest-selling song, and You Raise Me Up, which won them their fourth Record of the Year in Britain.

The collection also contains the boys' well-loved covers of numbers such as Abba's I Have a Dream, Phil Collins' Against All Odds and Michael Buble's Home.

Westlife are an extraordinary band. I'd even call them a legend, due to their amazing success over the past 13 years. Although the news of their farewell will no doubt have caused loyal fans to shed a tear or two, Greatest Hits will bring a little comfort after their swansong tour is completed.
