It's all off, folks - models Mikki Yao and Sunny Tsang call it quits after 10 years
Almost as many A-lister break-ups as hook-ups registered on our radar over the holiday season. Model-about-town Mikki Yao spilled the beans at a fashion event on Tuesday that she had ended her 10-year relationship with fellow model Sunny Tsang.
The pair were seen at plenty of promotional events over the past few years and had been considered one of the local modelling world's golden couples. But they called it quits just before Christmas.
'I'm feeling OK now,' Yao said. 'I had great Christmas and New Year celebrations in the company of my friends. Sunny and I haven't contacted each other much, but we did send each other a holiday greeting message.'
Looking radiant, Yao said she was now ready for a new relationship. 'I guess I can't rush it, but if the opportunity presents itself, I'm ready,' she said. 'But I've never made the first move in a relationship.'
This time round, Yao said, she wanted a beau who was more mature. 'Well, for someone my age, I'm probably not looking at someone in his 20s for a potential boyfriend,' the thirty-something model said. 'Some of my friends have tried to introduce eligible bachelors to me but I don't think it's something that will lead anywhere.'
