Suspended Prebble's loss is Doleuze's gain on impressive debut winner
Suspension and a change of plans cost Brett Prebble the winning ride on debutant Electronic Fortune, when the three-year-old scored in the hands of Olivier Doleuze to open proceedings. 'Brett did all the work on the horse and I had planned to run him on the 23rd over 1,000m when Brett would have been able to ride him,' trainer Manfred Man Ka-leung said. 'But the owner told me he will be in London on the 23rd, so he wanted to run earlier and this was the race, only Brett is suspended.' Doleuze paid Prebble credit for all the preparation work he had put into the three-year-old. 'A nice young horse and I am only riding him because Brett is suspended,' Doleuze said.
