Dennis Yip Chor-hong revealed he urged Alvin Ng Ka-chun to 'take the pressure off' as the junior rider was struggling under the weight of media and public expectation. Ng scored an all-the-way win on Jimson The Best in a Class Three, his eighth victory and 15th of his career. At the start of the season, many felt Ng would quickly out-ride his 10-pound claim, but the youngster has seen opportunities gradually become more scarce and his confidence waver. 'I just said, 'Forget what everybody is saying, just listen to me',' said Yip, who added the next step was to learn how to come from the rear of the field.'He needs to become stronger, so he can pick up a horse in a finish.'
