Arriving in Hong Kong last month, Macdonald has 20 years' experience providing tax advice and assistance to financial services organisations, specialising in the taxation of financial products and arrangements, capital markets transactions, asset origination and cross-border finance.

John MacArthur

As part of the Asia-Pacific financial services tax team, MacArthur brings with him 25 years of experience in global financial services. Previously, he was in the financial services international tax practice in San Francisco. He has also worked with Morgan Stanley's global structured products group in New York.

Florence Chan

Chan is the tax leader for Greater China. She has been with the company in Hong Kong for more than 20 years and has been involved in all aspects of tax services for banking and asset management clients in the region.

Victor SK Lee

Lee has more than 25 years in the education sector and was the director of the School of Continuing and Professional Studies of Chinese University. He has been a visiting professor at Beijing Normal University since 2009 and a member of the Manpower Development Committee of the HKSAR since 2007.

James Badenach

Badenach is the Asia-Pacific banking and capital markets tax leader. Previously, he was regional head of tax at the Royal Bank of Scotland and ABN Amro. In that role, Badenach gained experience in the region on issues affecting clients, on dealings with regional revenue authorities and in mergers and acquisitions activities.

Patrick Cheung

Cheung is the Asia-Pacific financial services transfer pricing leader. He has more than 15 years of international tax and transfer pricing experience including advance pricing arrangements, competent authority proceedings and tax planning projects in Asia and in North America.

Peter Cheung

Cheung is responsible for overseeing all corporate finance and corporate development functions including the budgeting and development plans for all business divisions and overseas subsidiaries. He was previously the chief financial officer, qualified accountant and company secretary of Weichai Power.
