The Chinese Restaurant at the Hyatt Regency in Tsim Sha Tsui is featuring seasonal ingredients and Chinese herbs on a menu that's available until the end of February. The menu includes braised sliced lamb with Chinese angelica and ginger in clay pot; pan-fried dogtooth violet mushroom cake with preserved meats (below left); double-boiled black chicken soup with American ginseng and sea coconut; and double-boiled crab meat soup with bamboo pith in young coconut. The Bostonian at The Langham hotel in Mong Kok has a special menu of lobster dishes that are available until the end of February. Guests can try dishes of Boston lobster cake with crab and roasted red pepper coulis; lobster chowder with oyster ravioli; lobster pot pie with saffron risotto; and baked lobster with chanterelles and pancetta. The Window Cafe at the Kowloon Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui is taking guests on a gastronomic journey through Southeast Asia with a dinner buffet until February 29. The buffet has dishes such as lobster and seafood laksa; wagyu beef satay with peanut sauce (right); baked king prawn with sea urchin mousse; Thai lobster and seafood cake with sweet chilli sauce; and durian cheesecake.
