Kung Hei Fat Choy! LuxeHomes wishes all our readers a prosperous Year of the Dragon. The dragon is a favourite creature in Chinese tradition, but it is really a human creation. It is made up of the head of the crocodile, the horn of the deer, the claws of the eagle, and the body of the snake.
This reminds me of an article I read in Fortune magazine. It reports that Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Media Lab is creating a concept home called CityHome, which can function as an apartment two or three times its size through a transformable wall system. According to the concept, the bedroom can be transformed into a home gym, and each occupant can personalise the design of the wall units. Just like our ancestors created the dragon, future generations may tailor-make their own home.
