Champagne might be the celebratory drink, whisky the gentleman's spirit and wine the connoisseur's choice, but in the world of luxury alcohol, cognac will always hold the top spot as the wealthy set's true tipple. Lovers of fine French brandy can indulge in every aspect of the drink through a trunk from one of the region's oldest brands. The Martell Trunk is a mark of true craftsmanship, created in collaboration with renowned French malletier Pinel & Pinel. Made from the finest full-grain leathers, copper, silver plate, oak, crystal and linen, it comes with the cognac maker's entire range as well as various crystal glasses, decanters, cocktail utensils, silver-plated dishes, an ice maker and bucket, and even a cigar humidor. The 28 montres inside include the full selection of Cordon Bleu, XO and L'Or de Jean Martell, as well Les Assemblages Exclusifs - four exclusive blends created by Martell's cellar master Benoit Fil from their finest vintages. Only 10 trunks have been produced so far, with each priced at GBP200,000.
