Up-and-coming crooners and songstresses will take the stage at MO Bar in The Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Central on February 18 as part of its 'MO Bar discovers' campaign.

The inaugural event - an intimate 90-minute concert - will feature three artists: Hongkonger Shiga Lin, Britain's Joe Brooks and Halie Loren from the US.

'I'm excited about my first experience performing in Hong Kong,' Loren said. 'And I hope this performance leads to many returns back to Hong Kong for future performances.' Loren said she had prepared a mix of pop and jazz, with original songs and re-imagined covers, for the concert. 'I like making classy, beautiful music that is lasting. Whether I create the song or adopt an old standard, I renovate it, give it a modern touch and send it back out into the world.'
