Wang wrestles with what to buy Karson for Valentine's Day
Since their romance became public last year, model Irene Wang Yuen-yuen and business scion Karson Choi have stopped being so secretive about their love life.
The beauty, just back from a Lunar New Year break with Choi in Dubai, is now busy with some last-minute Valentine's Day shopping.
She was looking for inspiration on Monday when Festival Walk unveiled its Valentine's Day themed decor. Wang turned up at the Kowloon Tong shopping mall in a scarlet couture dress featuring hand-made roses and crystals.
'I think it's more difficult to pick a gift for a guy. I've been consulting my friends [on what to get Choi],' she said, adding that she would rather not ask him outright what he wanted.
'He's very romantic and has always managed to surprise me on different occasions. So I really want to surprise him this time. And even if I had thought of something, I wouldn't want it in the press because he reads the papers every day.'
Wang is hoping to be showered with flowers and chocolates.
'I love flowers and can share chocolates with my family. The rest he has to figure out for himself. But I have complete faith in him [picking a nice gift].'
